This client had called from an issue that was a fence had fallen down due to ivy that had been growing on the fence for 15 years and the wood was rotting and could not hold it any longer. I showed them how the ivy had rooted into the ecology blocks so bad that the roots were moving the blocks and that the blocks should be replaced with a concrete wall. The top was a parking pad made from asphalt and it too had been buckled up from the roots and in bad shape. So we hauled away the blocks, took out the root system and replaced it all with concrete. There was a drain system that also had to be replaced that was centered in this parking pad and ran out under the wall to a sewer pipe and we re-did this. We also installed an inside French drain system to take away excess water from inside the wall perimeter and did a lengthy drain system to a pipe for the downspouts at the house. The client also had us do a bunch of terracing in this back yard area to make the backyard useful.
